SPONSORSHIP AND ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES
Union County Speedway (UCS) is a 3/8mile slightly banked dirt oval racetrack located in
the city of Liberty, Indiana, south of Richmond, Indiana. The track staff is dedicated to
providing its drivers and fans with a clean, well run facility to both participate and watch.
Stock car racing is one of the country's fastest growing spectator sports and its fans are
among the most loyal. This loyalty extends not only to the drivers themselves that race
each week but also toward the businesses that support the drivers and the tracks at
which they compete. In fact, most surveys show that over 70% of weekly fans actively buy
from companies involved in racing.
By teaming up with UCS, a business can show its support for racing and take advantage of
this tremendous fan loyalty. It also provides a business with substantial exposure to the
local market at a very reasonable cost. The track offers a number of different
opportunities including event sponsorship, billboard displays, program advertising, award
sponsorships & divisional naming rights. Each of these sponsorships are detailed below.

Event Sponsorship - A sponsor of a day's events receives advertising & publicity for the
sponsored event, sponsor's name on all printed schedules, VIP passes for sponsor's guests,
an opportunity to display products and provide giveaways or samples, race day
announcements at the track, post race coverage featuring sponsor's involvement, and on
track victory lane presentations with company officials if desired. Program Advertising-
Each week a detailed race program is printed and available for sale at the track.
Businesses have the opportunity to place a repeating ad in this highly desired publication.
The programs feature victory lane photographs, driver rosters, point standings, previous
race coverage and action photos. Highly desired inside and outside cover spots are also
available. Rates for the entire season are very affordable. Pro rated rates are available for
ads placed during the season. In addition to sales at the track, copies of the program are
also distributed to car dealerships, doctors' offices, libraries and other waiting areas
throughout the twin tiers during the season. Additional extra copies are also distributed
at area pre-season stock car shows to further increase exposure.
Billboard Displays - Highly visible billboards provide an excellent opportunity to put a
company's name in front of race fans. Boards are available in a number of different sizes
and can be placed directly in front of the grandstands, in the infield, near the pit gate
entrance or other prearranged locations throughout the track property. Track announcers
also do billboard sponsor rundowns throughout the season, providing race fans with
further information about each billboard advertiser's business.
Award Sponsorship - Various season long awards programs are available for sponsorship on
an annual basis. These include rookie-of-year awards, best appearing car awards, favorite
driver awards, and sportsmanship awards. Sponsor's business will be featured in all
mentions by track announcers of the award programs and in all print material featuring the
awards throughout the season. Sponsors are also encouraged to participate in award
presentations to the drivers at the end of the season.
Division Naming Rights - Corporate level naming rights are available for all classes run at
UCS. All track schedules and advertisements feature the company's name associated with
their race division. In addition, press releases and track announcements will also highlight
the business each week. Sponsors can provide track announcers with additional
information for promotion throughout the season. Division sponsors are also encouraged
to participate in the point title trophy presentations to the drivers at the end of the
season.
